Eileen C. Wurster Distinguished for Invaluable Contributions to Education
Eileen C. Wurster is Cambridge Publishing's 2010/2011 Professional of the Year
MADISON, MN, July 02, 2010 /Hispanic PR News/ -- Eileen C. Wurster, Teacher at the Lac qui Parle Valley School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
"We are not self contained in a small corner of the world. We are a global community of groups and we need to accept people from across the world," noted Eileen C. Wurster, educator for the Lac qui Parle Valley School District, in her latest interview with Cambridge Publishing. With over 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Wurster is considered to be a premier teacher of elementary education for non-native English speakers. Always striving to promote diversity and acceptance, she teaches the English Language Learners Program for the Lac qui Parle Valley School District and volunteers her time to support girls' basketball and volleyball.
Ms. Wurster holds a master of science in educational leadership from Southwest Minnesota State University and a bachelor of arts in elementary education from the same school. She is a certified ESL teacher, and is an active member of Minnesota Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages. Distinguished for her dedication, she credits her success as a teacher to hard work, compassion and her ability to listen to her students. For outstanding efforts in the field of education Ms. Wurster was named Professional of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who for the 2010/2011 year.
Away from work, Ms. Wurster enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her six grandchildren: Hope, John, Luke, Isabelle, Ella and Aubrey.
